About this role
AdventHealth Orlando is hiring a full-time Cell Therapy Clinical Coordinator Assistant to support bone marrow transplant and advanced cell therapy patients at its Orlando, Florida campus.
### What you'll do
- Schedule and coordinate appointments, diagnostic tests, and consultations with transplant teams, surgeons, and cardiologists
- Assess patient eligibility for advanced therapy or organ transplantation by reviewing medical records and consulting with specialists
- Serve as the primary liaison between patients, families, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure clear communication throughout the care continuum
- Educate patients and families on treatment processes, potential risks, post-treatment care, and medication adherence
- Monitor patient progress post-transplant, manage follow-up scheduling, and provide ongoing clinical and psychosocial support
- Maintain accurate documentation of all patient interactions, assessments, and care plans in compliance with regulatory standards
### What we're looking for
- 1+ year of experience in a complex healthcare setting such as a catheter lab, infusion center, endoscopy unit, or inpatient care area within the last three years (required)
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-intensity environment
- Proficiency in clinical documentation, exam procedures, and medical protocols
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a healthcare or business-related field (preferred)
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential (preferred)
- Bilingual English/Spanish and familiarity with BMT pre-transplant workup processes (preferred)
