About this role

AdventHealth Orlando is hiring a full-time Oncology Clinical Pharmacist (Outpatient Float) at its Orlando, Florida campus to provide specialized pharmaceutical care across outpatient oncology and hematology settings. ### What you'll do - Review, verify, and monitor medication orders and patient profiles to prevent, identify, and resolve drug-related problems, including pharmacokinetic dosing and adjustments. - Counsel patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members on safe and effective use of oncology and hematology medications. - Participate in direct patient care and interdisciplinary rounds, supporting seamless care transitions from admission through discharge and follow-up. - Supervise, mentor, and evaluate pharmacy technicians, interns, students, and residents. - Identify, document, and help resolve medication safety events, adverse drug reactions, and errors. - Contribute to quality improvement, regulatory compliance, stewardship programs, and performance metric tracking. ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Pharmacist (RPh) license required. - PharmD preferred; bachelor's degree minimum. - PGY2 Oncology Pharmacy Residency, OR PGY1 residency plus 1 year of oncology/hematology/BMT experience, OR 3+ years of oncology/hematology/BMT experience. - Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) certification preferred. - Minimum 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred. - Proficiency with EHRs, pharmacy informatics systems, and medication automation. ### What's included - Compensation range: $50.49–$93.91/hour ($104,919–$195,333 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one. - Paid time off from day one; 4 weeks 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Orlando is a large faith-based, not-for-profit health system with a comprehensive oncology program serving Central Florida.
