About this role
AdventHealth Castle Rock in Castle Rock, Colorado is hiring a full-time Senior Cook to support patient dining, café service, and catering operations on a day/weekend shift.
### What you'll do
- Prepare and cook high-quality, visually appealing meals for patients, café service, and catering events following established recipes and production sheets.
- Create and update menus, recipes, and production records in collaboration with leadership to support dietary compliance and operational efficiency.
- Oversee food production activities, ensuring proper portioning, batch cooking, and adherence to culinary standards for both patient and retail services.
- Maintain clean and sanitary workspaces, equipment, and storage areas in accordance with HACCP guidelines, including accurate temperature recording.
- Coordinate daily operations with the FANS Coordinator and team members to meet service expectations consistently.
### What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years of healthcare or commercial cooking experience (required).
- 3+ years in a hospital food service setting (preferred).
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Certified Foodservice Professional (CFSP) credential (preferred).
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer relations skills.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions.
