About this role

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Oncology Infusion RN at its cancer institute in Hinsdale, Illinois. ### What you'll do - Administer chemotherapy and infusion treatments per prescribed protocols, maintaining patient safety throughout. - Assess patients continuously, respond to changes in condition, and manage emergency situations including codes. - Educate patients and families on treatment plans, health conditions, and care procedures tailored to assessed learning needs. - Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. - Monitor and document patient progress, treatment outcomes, and diagnostic test results accurately. - Follow CDC isolation guidelines, proper PPE use, and hand-hygiene policy to maintain a safe clinical environment. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois. - Associate's degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred from an accredited program. - Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience. - BLS certification required; ACLS preferred. - Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) credential preferred. - Oncology clinical experience preferred; strong written and verbal communication skills required. ### What's included - Pay range: $33.60–$56.52/hr ($69,888–$117,562 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid time off starting Day One plus 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development resources and mental health support programs. ### About the practice UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is a faith-based health system serving communities across the Chicago metropolitan area, with this role based at the dedicated cancer institute campus in Hinsdale, IL.
