AdventHealth Hendersonville is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician I to support facilities operations at its hospital campus in Hendersonville, North Carolina.
### What you'll do
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of painting, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, locksmith, and alarm systems
- Respond to in-house work orders and preventive maintenance tasks daily and in a timely manner
- Perform essential repairs to mechanical machinery, equipment, systems, and physical structures under direct supervision
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs, including logs and CMMS system data entry
- Manage tools and equipment in good working condition and coordinate with departments to minimize operational disruption
- Respond to emergency calls and participate in on-call rotation approximately every seven weeks
### What we're looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Basic Microsoft Office proficiency and ability to enter data in a CMMS system
- Knowledge of safe tool and equipment handling
- 1+ year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred

AdventHealth Hendersonville is a faith-based, not-for-profit hospital located at 100 Hospital Drive in Hendersonville, NC, part of the AdventHealth system. The facility serves the western North Carolina region and emphasizes whole-person care across body, mind, and spirit. The facilities team operates Monday–Thursday 8 AM–5 PM and Friday 8 AM–2:30 PM, with rotating on-call coverage.
