About this role
An outpatient orthopedic Physical Therapist is needed at AdventHealth Sports Med and Rehab in Winter Park, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform evaluations and re-evaluations of orthopedic patients using recommended techniques and standards of practice
- Document care accurately, completely, and on time using measurable and objective terminology per insurance guidelines and department policy
- Build referral relationships through direct outreach to physicians and physician practices
- Support community awareness by participating in educational lectures, community events, and public programming
- Collaborate across centers and programs, adjusting schedule as needed to meet patient census demands
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida Physical Therapist (PT) license or Temporary PT license (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required)
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (preferred)
- Experience treating orthopedic patients (preferred)
- Ability to maintain documentation standards consistent with licensing and certifying body requirements
