About this role

AdventHealth Parker seeks a contract Med-Surg Oncology/Chemo-Certified RN for night shifts (36 hrs/week) at its inpatient facility in Parker, Colorado. ### What you'll do - Conduct ongoing patient assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based plans of care in alignment with interdisciplinary goals. - Administer medications and chemotherapy treatments as prescribed, maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols. - Educate patients and families on diagnoses, procedures, and care plans tailored to assessed learning needs. - Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to facilitate timely patient admission, discharge, and transfer. - Ensure safe handoff communication, accurate documentation, and compliance with CDC isolation and PPE guidelines. - Serve as a patient advocate, upholding patient rights while participating in quality and safety improvement initiatives. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado. - Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an acute hospital setting. - Chemotherapy certification (per unit credential grid requirements). - BLS/CPR certification (required); TNCC preferred. - Associate's degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's degree preferred. - Strong critical thinking and English communication skills (verbal, written, and reading). ### What's included - Contract hourly rate of $75.60/hr on a 36-hour/week night schedule. - Position is PRN/contract — benefit eligibility per AdventHealth contract terms. ### About the practice AdventHealth Parker is part of the Portercare Adventist Health System, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system serving communities across the United States.
