About this role
AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Outpatient Physical Therapist at its Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation clinic in Apopka, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform initial evaluations and re-evaluations using evidence-based techniques and established standards.
- Establish, implement, and adapt individualized treatment plans including goal setting, treatment activities, and visit frequency.
- Document patient care accurately, completely, and on time using measurable and objective terminology.
- Oversee physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation therapy aides in accordance with applicable regulations and practice standards.
- Provide patient and caregiver education, including discharge planning and home recommendations.
- Participate in community events, educational lectures, and outreach activities as an extension of clinical expertise.
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida Physical Therapist (PT) license or Temporary PT license (required).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required).
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (preferred).
- Experience treating orthopedic patients (preferred).
- Ability to meet departmental productivity standards through effective time management and clinical efficiency.
- Willingness to float to additional clinic locations as needed.
