PBX Operator Weekday PRN

A PRN PBX Operator role at Texas Health Huguley Memorial Medical Center in Burleson, Texas, supporting hospital communications across weekday shifts between 5 am and 11 pm. ### What you'll do - Answer and route incoming calls promptly and accurately to departments, patient rooms, and staff - Announce hospital disaster and emergency codes via overhead paging according to established procedure - Maintain an operational call log of all activities, requests, and issues throughout each shift - Contact key personnel after hours as needed and update on-call lists when staffing changes occur - Respond appropriately to all alarm systems and emergency codes - Deliver courteous, professional communication to patients, visitors, physicians, and staff ### What we're looking for - High school diploma or equivalent required - Minimum 1 year of switchboard or PBX operations experience required - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer systems required - Strong verbal communication skills with clear and precise speaking ability - Organizational skills and attention to detail in reading, writing, and computer tasks - Flexibility to cover shifts at any time, including days, nights, and holidays ### What's included - PRN hourly rate of $18.75; full pay range $15.34–$23.02/hour ($31,907–$47,882 annualized) - Variable schedule based on PTO and sick-leave coverage needs within a 24/7 department ### About the practice Texas Health Huguley Memorial Medical Center is a faith-based community hospital in Burleson, Texas, operating as part of the AdventHealth system.
