About this role

An Occupational Therapist Float performs evaluations and delivers individualized patient care across units at AdventHealth Orlando (Ginsburg Tower) in Orlando, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform initial evaluations and re-evaluations using evidence-based techniques and professional standards - Establish, implement, and adapt individualized treatment plans including goal setting, treatment activities, and visit frequency - Document patient care accurately and completely in the electronic medical record using measurable, objective terminology - Provide patient and caregiver education, including discharge planning recommendations - Oversee certified occupational therapy assistants and rehabilitation therapy aides in accordance with regulatory and practice standards - Participate in performance improvement initiatives and community outreach events as an extension of clinical expertise ### What we're looking for - Active Florida OT license (or Temporary OT license) required - BLS/CPR certification required - Master's degree in Occupational Therapy preferred; entry-level education meeting licensure eligibility accepted - Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office suite - Strong written, verbal, and electronic communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams - Ability to serve as a clinical instructor and apply best and evidence-based practices ### What's included - Pay range: $31.55–$58.69/hr ($65,624–$122,075 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid time off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Pet benefits and whole-person well-being and mental health resources ### About the practice AdventHealth Orlando operates one of the largest faith-based, not-for-profit health systems in the country, anchored by its flagship Ginsburg Tower campus in Orlando.
