About this role
AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Simulation Operations Specialist at its Heartland campus in Avon Park, Florida, supporting clinical education and simulation training programs.
### What you'll do
- Set up and operate human patient simulator systems, task trainers, and audiovisual/computer equipment during training exercises
- Coordinate and execute simulation exercises, courses, conferences, and workshops from planning through debrief
- Apply medical moulage and configure realistic room environments to ensure fully immersive simulation experiences
- Manage and maintain all simulation equipment, including software updates, warranty support, and vendor communication
- Maintain accurate inventory of medical supplies and simulation equipment; support curriculum and scenario development
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to networking, audiovisual platforms, and simulation hardware
### What we're looking for
- 1+ year of experience in simulation operations, education, or training with human patient simulator platforms (Laerdal, Gaumard, CAE Healthcare preferred)
- 1+ year of direct patient care experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
- Associate degree in Simulation, Technology, Education, Healthcare, Business, or related discipline preferred
- Working knowledge of simulation audiovisual platforms and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- BLS certification preferred; ACLS, PALS, and CHSOS also preferred
- Clinical licensure (LPN, RRT, Paramedic, or NREMT) preferred
