About this role
AdventHealth Porter is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its Medical Oncology unit at the Denver, Colorado campus, with night shift and day shift positions available.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors.
- Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans aligned with oncology standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitoring patients for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment regimens, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians and ancillary departments to coordinate care and maintain effective team communication.
- Respond promptly to code situations, providing stabilizing interventions and maintaining accurate medical-record documentation.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- BLS/CPR certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and critical-thinking skills.
- EKG competency as required by unit credential grid.

- Hourly pay range $34.26–$59.24 (approximately $71,261–$123,219 annually).
