About this role

A PRN inpatient Physical Therapist role at Texas Health Mansfield, part of the AdventHealth system, located in Mansfield, Texas. ### What you'll do - Perform evaluations and re-evaluations using evidence-based techniques and establish individualized treatment plans with goal setting and appropriate frequency. - Document patient care accurately, completely, and on time using measurable and objective terminology. - Provide patient and caregiver education, including discharge planning recommendations aligned with payer guidelines. - Oversee care delivered by physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation therapy aides per established regulations and practice standards. - Maintain productivity standards through effective time management and adjust work hours to meet patient needs. - Participate in community events and educational outreach as an extension of clinical expertise. ### What we're looking for - Active Texas Physical Therapist (PT) license or Temporary PT license required. - BLS/CPR certification required. - Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred. - Acute care inpatient PT experience highly preferred. - Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office suite. - Strong written, verbal, and electronic communication skills with multidisciplinary teams. ### What's included - PRN rate of $55.00/hour; posted pay range $32.56–$60.56/hour. - Variable day shifts, primarily weekdays with occasional weekend coverage. - Access to a faith-based, mission-driven work culture within a growing regional health system. ### About the practice Texas Health Mansfield is a community hospital in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex operating under the AdventHealth umbrella, serving Mansfield and surrounding areas.
