About this role
A full-time night-shift Nursing Assistant (CNA) position on the Oncology unit at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission in Shawnee Mission, Kansas.
### What you'll do
- Assist in the delivery of patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse
- Accurately obtain and document vital signs in the electronic medical record
- Perform patient care duties and procedures in accordance with department policy
- Function appropriately within scope during clinical emergencies
- Support quality standards and participate in practice changes driven by performance improvement activities
### What we're looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- BLS/CPR certification (required)
- CNA certification (preferred)
- Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant (CPCT/A) or EMT certification (preferred)
- 1+ year of applicable PCT experience (preferred)
