About this role

AdventHealth Porter is hiring a full-time Oncology Registered Nurse for its inpatient unit in Denver, Colorado. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive physiological, psychological, and sociocultural assessments and develop individualized care plans for oncology patients. - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitoring for adverse reactions and adjusting interventions as outcomes warrant. - Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies to support compliance and recovery. - Collaborate with physicians, medical staff, and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care. - Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record. - Respond promptly to code situations and supervise delegated care provided by other members of the healthcare team. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado (required). - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. - Current BLS/CPR certification required. - Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred. - Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certification preferred. - Strong organizational, multitasking, and clinical communication skills. ### What's included - Pay range: $34.26–$59.24/hr ($71,261–$123,219 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid time off beginning Day One plus 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Porter is a faith-based, community-focused hospital located at 2525 S.
