About this role

AdventHealth Porter is seeking a PRN Oncology Registered Nurse for its inpatient oncology unit in Denver, Colorado. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors for oncology patients. - Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care. - Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions. - Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies. - Collaborate with physicians, medical staff, and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Colorado (required). - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. - Current BLS/CPR certification required. - Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience preferred. - Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certification preferred. - Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $34.26–$59.24 (approximately $71,261–$123,219 annualized). - Sign-on bonus eligible. - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one. - Paid time off from day one. - 403(b) retirement plan. - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - CME and career development resources; mental health and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Porter is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system with a mission centered on whole-person care — body, mind, and spirit.
