About this role
AdventHealth Porter is hiring a full-time Oncology Registered Nurse for night shifts at its inpatient facility in Denver, Colorado, with sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors.
- Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans aligned with oncology standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians and ancillary departments to coordinate care and ensure effective communication across the team.
- Respond promptly to code situations and provide stabilizing interventions as required.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado (required).
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certification preferred.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and critical-thinking skills with proficiency in electronic health records.
