About this role
AdventHealth Celebration is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver rehabilitative care at its hospital campus in Celebration, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by supervising physical therapists, adjusting interventions based on ongoing patient assessments.
- Document patient care accurately and timely using measurable, objective terminology in accordance with insurance guidelines and department policies.
- Collect and communicate patient progress data to physical therapists, including discharge recommendations when maximum benefit is reached.
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of rehabilitation aides, students, and other support personnel per established regulations.
- Apply age-appropriate assessment and communication approaches based on patient motor skills and physiological norms.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and maintain productivity standards as defined by the department.
### What we're looking for
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy (required).
- Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license or temporary PTA license (required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required).
- Ability to work Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:00 AM–6:30 PM.
- Commitment to professional development and maintenance of clinical competencies.
