About this role

AdventHealth Home Health and Hospice is hiring a full-time Hospice Business Development Specialist based in the field, covering Kissimmee and surrounding areas in Florida. ### What you'll do - Cultivate and maintain referral relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and assisted living communities within an assigned territory. - Develop and execute a territory business plan to achieve growth goals for hospice referrals. - Conduct consultative sales conversations, tailoring solutions and educational materials to each referral source's needs. - Document daily sales activity, referral contacts, territory updates, and communications accurately in electronic database systems. - Coordinate and lead educational events for referral sources in partnership with the Education Department. - Serve as a liaison between referral sources and hospice care teams to address concerns and facilitate timely resolutions. ### What we're looking for - Minimum 2 years of marketing or sales experience (required). - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Healthcare, or a related field (preferred). - Intermediate-to-advanced knowledge of the sales process and Microsoft Office Suite. - Valid driver's license and personal auto insurance (required). - Strong time management, organizational skills, and a demonstrated sense of urgency. - Healthcare or hospice industry experience (preferred). ### What's included - Salary range: $60,152–$111,886 per year. - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one. - Paid time off from day one. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of fully paid parental leave. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Home Health and Hospice is a faith-based, mission-driven organization committed to caring for patients and families during end-of-life with compassion and clinical excellence. The hospice program serves communities across Central Florida, with this role field-based out of Altamonte Springs and focused on the Kissimmee corridor. The team operates Monday through Friday with occasional evening and weekend coverage as needed.
