About this role
AdventHealth Daytona Beach is hiring a full-time Senior Administrative Assistant to support the Pastoral Care department at its Daytona Beach, Florida campus.
### What you'll do
- Manage and maintain calendars for assigned leadership, coordinating scheduling across multiple leaders simultaneously
- Plan and execute special events including physician meetings, dinner meetings, presentations, retreats, and receptions with detailed itineraries
- Handle all meeting logistics — scheduling, agenda distribution, and minute-taking
- Screen incoming visitors and telephone calls, routing inquiries and independently resolving routine matters
- Process timekeeping records, coordinate interview scheduling, maintain employee files, licenses, and competency documentation
- Draft correspondence on behalf of the Director and Managers, managing incoming and outgoing mail with appropriate follow-up
### What we're looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years of administrative assistant experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail and ability to handle confidential data
- Hospital or acute care background preferred
- Notary public designation preferred
