EVS Associate Zephyrhills

An EVS Associate at AdventHealth Zephyrhills performs daily environmental services cleaning and sanitation across patient and public areas at the hospital campus in Zephyrhills, Florida. ### What you'll do - Clean and sanitize assigned patient rooms, public areas, restrooms, and ancillary units daily - Collect and remove trash, dispose of normal and biohazardous waste per facility standards - Stock paper products, cleaning solutions, and supplies in assigned areas - Clean and disinfect areas containing bodily fluids in compliance with infection control and isolation procedures - Utilize the Bed Management system and handheld technology to support bed throughput - Collect and stage soiled linen for pickup and document all work performed ### What we're looking for - Ability to maintain equipment and work areas in a clean, safe condition - Proficiency in English communication, both oral and written - Basic computer skills including use of standard office software, mouse, and keyboard - Ability to read and interpret Safety Data Sheets, product labels, and reports - Strong customer service skills and comfort interacting with patients - Healthcare environmental services or housekeeping/custodial experience preferred ### What's included - Pay range: $15.31–$24.49/hour (~$31,845–$50,939 annually) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from Day One - Paid time off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Zephyrhills is a faith-based, community hospital located at 7050 Gall Blvd in Zephyrhills, Florida, part of the AdventHealth system.
