EVS Associate Nights Zephyrhills

An EVS Associate (Night Shift) at AdventHealth Zephyrhills performs environmental services and infection-control cleaning across a hospital campus in Zephyrhills, Florida. ### What you'll do - Clean and sanitize assigned patient rooms and public areas daily, including collecting and removing trash and biohazardous waste - Disinfect areas containing bodily fluids in accordance with facility infection-control and isolation standards - Stock paper products, cleaning solutions, and supplies in designated areas - Utilize the Bed Management system and handheld technology to support productive bed throughput - Collect and stage soiled linen for pickup and properly dispose of normal and biohazardous waste - Document all work performed and maintain cleaning carts and janitorial equipment in safe operating condition ### What we're looking for - Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets, product labels, and reports, and perform basic arithmetic - Strong customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with patients - Basic computer proficiency including mouse, keyboard, and standard office software - Ability to follow oral and written instructions and apply knowledge of basic environmental services duties - High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) - Prior housekeeping, custodial, or healthcare environmental services experience (preferred) ### What's included - Pay range: $15.31–$24.49/hour (~$31,845–$50,939 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources, well-being support, and pet benefits ### About the practice AdventHealth Zephyrhills is a full-service hospital located at 7050 Gall Blvd, Zephyrhills, FL 33541, part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest faith-based nonprofit health systems in the United States.
