About this role

AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Outpatient Pediatric Physical Therapy Assistant at its East Orlando MOB clinic located at 7975 Lake Underhill Rd, Orlando, FL 32822. ### What you'll do - Implement individualized treatment plans based on physical therapist evaluations, applying practice standards, recommended techniques, and insurance guidelines - Modify treatment plans as needed based on ongoing patient assessments, in consultation with the supervising physical therapist - Collect and communicate patient data to physical therapists, including discharge recommendations when maximum benefit has been achieved - Document patient care accurately and timely using measurable, objective terminology consistent with department, hospital, and insurance standards - Practice employee and patient safety principles throughout all daily job activities - Participate in community events, educational lectures, and other outreach activities that extend clinical expertise beyond the clinic ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license or PTA-TEMP license required - Associate's degree in Physical Therapy required - BLS/CPR certification required - At least 1 year of experience treating pediatric patients, or a clinical rotation in pediatrics (preferred) - Bilingual Spanish preferred ### What's included - Pay range: $21.56–$40.09/hour (~$44,845–$83,387 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Pet benefits and whole-person well-being resources ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system serving communities across the United States with a mission rooted in whole-person care — body, mind, and spirit.
