About this role
A Rehabilitation Therapy Aide supports outpatient physical and occupational therapy services at AdventHealth's Kissimmee, Florida clinic on North Orange Blossom Trail.
### What you'll do
- Assist licensed therapists in delivering individualized patient treatment plans, including goal-directed therapy activities.
- Support patient and caregiver education and provide discharge recommendations under therapist supervision.
- Maintain accurate, timely patient documentation and billing records using measurable and objective terminology.
- Participate in community events and educational outreach as an extension of the rehabilitation team.
- Contribute to departmental quality standards and performance improvement initiatives.
- Practice daily patient and employee safety protocols in all job activities.
### What we're looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Pursuing or interested in a Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy career path.
- Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read, write, and speak conversational English.
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (preferred).
- Strong ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a clinical team.

The team works Monday through Thursday 10am–7pm and Friday 9am–6pm in a structured, patient-centered ambulatory setting.
