About this role
AdventHealth Parker is hiring a full-time Medical Office Representative to support patient access and registration across multiple outpatient clinic locations in Parker, Colorado.
### What you'll do
- Answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and route calls to the appropriate departments.
- Welcome patients at check-in; collect, verify, and enter demographics, insurance, and billing information into applicable systems.
- Register patients for services, facilitate timely discharge, and ensure accuracy to support reimbursement.
- Confirm financial eligibility and benefits, and collect co-pays or outstanding balances at the time of service.
- Coordinate with clinical, ancillary, and patient access teams to maintain smooth operational flow and communication.
- Educate patients on test locations, patient portal navigation, and non-clinical follow-up steps.
### What we're looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Associate's degree or coursework in health services administration or a related medical/business field (preferred).
- 1+ year of customer service and medical office experience, including medical terminology, coding, charge entry, and payment collection (preferred).
- Prior collections experience (preferred).
- Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) credential (preferred).
