Registered Nurse RN Flex Team Hospice

AdventHealth Home Health and Hospice is hiring a full-time Flex Team Hospice RN for night shift coverage across inpatient units, home, and crisis settings in Ormond Beach, Florida. ### What you'll do - Cover flex pool positions across two Inpatient Palliative Units (Orange City and Palm Coast), admissions, field/home visits, crisis care, and after-hours calls throughout Volusia and Flagler Counties - Respond to patient emergencies outside normal business hours, traveling to patient residences to assess urgent or emergent conditions including falls and traumatic events - Perform nursing procedures such as catheter insertion, feeding tube placement, and administration of intravenous medications (when credentialed) - Consult with the Triage Nurse or on-call Nursing Manager on unusual situations and potential risk management issues before initiating Crisis Care or approving GIP status - Educate patients' families and caregivers on hospice care services and coordinate medications and medical equipment delivery - Complete timely and accurate documentation of all patient contact activities in the electronic medical record ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license - Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered nurse - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred - Current BLS/CPR certification and valid driver's license - Proficiency with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office Suite - Home health and/or acute care nursing experience preferred ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $29.21–$46.73 (annualized $60,757–$97,197) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid Time Off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Career development and mental health support resources ### About the practice AdventHealth Home Health and Hospice serves patients across Volusia and Flagler Counties through a faith-based, whole-person model of care.
