About this role

AdventHealth Home Health and Hospice is hiring a full-time Hospice Admissions RN Mentor Educator based out of Altamonte Springs, FL, with travel coverage across Volusia, Flagler, Seminole, Orange, and Osceola counties. ### What you'll do - Provide coaching and skills development training to nurses identified as needing additional support with clinical skills and documentation - Conduct joint visits with orientees throughout the orientation period and 3-month evaluation window - Communicate regularly with orientees and deliver structured feedback to their managers during onboarding and post-orientation evaluation - Review competency forms with each nurse and preceptor, ensuring all new staff meet required milestones - Assist in training new certified nursing assistants as needed - Complete and facilitate Hospice of the Comforter Orientation and Training programming ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — required - Minimum 2 years of RN experience, including at least 1 year in hospice — required - Associate degree in Nursing — required; Bachelor's degree preferred - BLS/CPR certification — required - Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) — preferred - Home health or acute care nursing experience — preferred ### What's included - Salary range: $60,749 – $97,198 annually - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Home Health and Hospice is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system with a mission centered on whole-person care — body, mind, and spirit.
