AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is hiring a full-time, night-shift Registered Nurse for its Oncology unit in Shawnee Mission, Kansas.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
- Develop, implement, and regularly revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication across the care team.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification — required.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing — required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing — preferred.
- At least 1 year of acute care hospital experience — preferred.
- ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) certification — preferred.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to assess patients and revise care plans based on outcomes.

- Pay range: $32.50–$60.45/hr ($67,600–$125,736 annualized).
