This is a hands-on, technically demanding role responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operation of all HVAC, refrigeration, and building mechanical systems across a busy community hospital environment. - Responsible for maintaining inventory of parts and supplies for all HVAC systems
- Works under general direction with latitude for independent judgment on day-to-day mechanical operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of a trade or vocational school in a related field preferred
- Minimum three years of experience working for an HVAC/air conditioning company or mechanical contractor
- Certified HVAC Technician credential required
- Must hold a 1st Class Steam Engineering License (Boiler License) issued through Memphis and Shelby County Code Enforcement — or eligibility to obtain
