Practice Highlights

  • Supervisory role operating under the guidance of the Practice Administrator with direct authority over daily and strategic operational decisions
  • Responsible for planning, organizing, supervising, training, and directing all office personnel and activities
  • Oversight of the full billing cycle — billing process establishment, medical coding accuracy, and charge recovery assurance
  • Active collaboration with physicians and staff to set and achieve practice performance goals
  • Coordination with practice administration on hospital privileges, clinical programs, and community outreach initiatives
  • Identification and implementation of strategies to optimize clinic care delivery, community relations, and managed care business opportunities
  • Regular reporting on management and supervisory activities, operational projects, and special corporate initiatives
  • Patient issue resolution as needed to maintain service quality and satisfaction
  • EMR environment utilizing NextGen or Athena

Qualifications

  • College degree required, or an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working within a physician practice setting
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience
  • Healthcare background strongly preferred
  • EMR/EHR experience required; NextGen or Athena platform experience preferred
  • Proficiency in a Windows environment with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and internet-based tools
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a complex, matrixed organizational environment
