Practice Highlights

  • Coordinates inbound referrals from physicians, case managers, and acute care facilities for rehabilitation program admission

Qualifications

  • Minimum: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a health care clinical field; Master's degree in nursing preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a health care environment, preferably hospital-based
  • Demonstrated experience working with adult rehabilitation and geriatric/disabled populations; strong interpersonal skills required
  • Current Texas State License in a clinical specialty — required at hire
  • Active Healthcare Provider BLS (ARC or AHA) required at hire; AHA Healthcare Provider BLS required within 60 days of hire
  • Marketing or referral development experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of Allscripts, Microsoft Office, ACCESS, and standard clinical/office technology preferred
