<h3>Practice Highlights</h3> <ul> <li>Leads recruitment strategy execution for assigned Michigan market facilities and/or designated service lines</li> <li>Direct supervisory responsibility for a subset of the regional recruitment team, including performance management, annual evaluations, training, and day-to-day support</li> <li>Acts as short-term coverage for the Group Recruitment Manager during absences — a clear signal of leadership visibility and advancement potential</li> <li>Partners with Department Managers and Directors to maintain accuracy of open positions and align recruitment activity with contract labor and overtime management</li> <li>Manages full-cycle recruiting: intake, sourcing strategy, application screening, salary calculation, offer presentation and negotiation, and requisition closure</li> <li>Maintains Applicant Tracking System (ATS) integrity, including posting practices optimized for SEO and candidate experience</li> <li>Develops market-specific sourcing strategies encompassing media recommendations, niche job boards, conferences, job fairs, and hiring events</li> <li>Conducts regular onsite facility rounding using intake guides and Service Level Agreements to understand unit culture and staffing fit</li> <li>Provides facility leadership with actionable recruitment reports and data-driven insights</li> <li>Trains and develops new recruiters and recruitment coordinators on the team</li> <li>Consults with hiring managers on equitable hiring practices and final selection decisions</li> <li>Weekly onsite visits to assigned facilities required</li> </ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered</li> <li>Minimum 4 years of recruiting experience required</li> <li>Previous experience in a people leadership or supervisory role preferred</li> <li>Prior recruiting experience within an acute care hospital environment strongly preferred</li> <li>Strong internet sourcing and digital recruiting skills</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to drive decision-making and outcomes across direct reports and stakeholder groups</li> <li>Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruiting technology platforms</li> <li>Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills; fluency in spoken and written English required</li> <li>Proven ability to influence stakeholders and achieve outcomes through collaboration</li> <li>Must reside in the Michigan market</li> </ul>
