Practice Highlights

  • Leads recruitment strategy execution for assigned Michigan market facilities and/or designated service lines
  • Direct supervisory responsibility for a subset of the regional recruitment team, including performance management, annual evaluations, training, and day-to-day support
  • Acts as short-term coverage for the Group Recruitment Manager during absences — a clear signal of leadership visibility and advancement potential
  • Partners with Department Managers and Directors to maintain accuracy of open positions and align recruitment activity with contract labor and overtime management

  • Maintains Applicant Tracking System (ATS) integrity, including posting practices optimized for SEO and candidate experience
  • Develops market-specific sourcing strategies encompassing media recommendations, niche job boards, conferences, job fairs, and hiring events
  • Conducts regular onsite facility rounding using intake guides and Service Level Agreements to understand unit culture and staffing fit
  • Provides facility leadership with actionable recruitment reports and data-driven insights
  • Trains and develops new recruiters and recruitment coordinators on the team
  • Consults with hiring managers on equitable hiring practices and final selection decisions
  • Weekly onsite visits to assigned facilities required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered
  • Minimum 4 years of recruiting experience required
  • Previous experience in a people leadership or supervisory role preferred
  • Prior recruiting experience within an acute care hospital environment strongly preferred
  • Strong internet sourcing and digital recruiting skills
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to drive decision-making and outcomes across direct reports and stakeholder groups
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruiting technology platforms
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills; fluency in spoken and written English required
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and achieve outcomes through collaboration
  • Must reside in the Michigan market
