<p>Northeast Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas is recruiting a full-time Physical Therapist for its acute care inpatient service. <h3>Practice Highlights</h3> <ul> <li>Full-time, daytime schedule in an acute care inpatient setting</li> <li>Caseload spans adult patients across the full spectrum of acute care acuity</li> <li>Responsibilities include evaluation, test and measurement interpretation, treatment planning, and ongoing plan modification based on patient progress</li> <li>Collaborative, interdisciplinary model: active coordination with physicians, nursing staff, social workers, and discharge planners throughout the care continuum</li> <li>Clinical education role: provides supervision and instruction to PT students on rotation</li> <li>In-service education responsibilities to nursing and support staff</li> <li>Supervision of supportive personnel in the administration of treatment plans</li> <li>Part of a system that includes six full-service hospitals, a dedicated pediatric hospital with a pediatric emergency unit, a comprehensive cancer care network, imaging centers, fitness and rehabilitation centers, and ambulatory services</li> <li>Performance Improvement participation built into the role</li> </ul>

<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; Master's or Doctorate degree preferred</li> <li>Active Texas State Physical Therapy license required prior to orientation (new graduates must obtain licensure before start date)</li> <li>Active Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire; AHA Healthcare Provider BLS required within 60 days of hire (ARC accepted at hire)</li> <li>No prior work experience required — new graduates are encouraged to apply</li> <li>Preferred: clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings; familiarity with marketing and business operations</li> <li>Spanish language proficiency preferred</li> </ul>
