About the Community

Tucson is Arizona's second-largest city, set against the dramatic backdrop of the Sonoran Desert and ringed by five mountain ranges — offering year-round outdoor recreation including hiking, cycling, and climbing within minutes of the hospital. The city combines a low cost of living relative to other major Southwest metros with a vibrant arts and food scene, the University of Arizona's cultural and academic presence, and easy access to both Phoenix and the Mexican border region. Tucson's 300-plus days of sunshine, affordable housing, and strong public and private school options make it a compelling destination for clinicians relocating from higher-cost markets.
