Saint Luke's Hospital, part of the Baptist Health System in San Antonio, TX, is recruiting an experienced Director of Plant Operations to lead facilities management across a major acute care campus within a system that encompasses six full-service hospitals, a specialized children's hospital, a comprehensive cancer care network, imaging centers, and ambulatory services. Practice Highlights

Qualifications

  • Minimum education: High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a healthcare facilities or plant operations setting required
  • Preferred: 10 or more years of supervisory or management experience in a hospital of 125 beds or greater, or comparable healthcare environment
  • Demonstrated experience with JCAHO standards, Life Safety Code compliance, and State Hospital licensing requirements strongly preferred
  • Preferred certification: Professional Engineering (PE) licensure or Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) designation
  • No specific required certifications or licensure beyond the above; competencies for the position must be completed within the designated introductory period
