<p>The Hospitals of Providence – East Campus in El Paso, Texas is recruiting a full-time Registered Nurse for its Hematology/Oncology unit on a Weekender schedule. <h3>Practice Highlights</h3> <ul> <li>Weekender schedule — full-time status with day-shift hours concentrated on weekends</li> <li>Direct clinical care on a dedicated Hematology/Oncology inpatient unit</li> <li>Responsible for full nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for assigned oncology patients each shift</li> <li>Medication administration per hospital policy, including oncology-specific regimens, with emphasis on safety and timeliness</li> <li>Supervision and delegation of care to appropriate support staff at the unit level</li> <li>Accountable to the CNO for quality, safety, and appropriate resource utilization in patient care</li> <li>Adherence to established standards in safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control</li> <li>HICS (Hospital Incident Command System) participation during emergencies and disaster response</li> <li>Part of a five-campus regional system with a dedicated children's hospital and broad subspecialty service lines serving the greater El Paso region</li> </ul>

<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required); Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred</li> <li>Minimum 1 year of RN experience required; recent acute care experience preferred</li> <li>Active Texas RN license or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state of practice</li> <li>Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required</li> <li>AHA ACLS and/or PALS and/or NRP required if applicable per corporate policy for the unit of hire</li> </ul>
