Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders required
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship (CFY) required; new graduates must possess a Texas Intern License prior to orientation
- All other candidates must hold an active Texas State License and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Active Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire (ARC or AHA); AHA Healthcare Provider BLS must be obtained within 60 days of hire
- Preferred: demonstrated competency in Modified Barium Swallow Exams and Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES)
- Preferred: Spanish language proficiency, reflecting the bilingual patient population of San Antonio
