About the Community

Nacogdoches is one of the oldest towns in Texas, situated in the piney woods of East Texas with a relaxed pace, low cost of living, and a strong sense of community. Home to Stephen F. Austin State University, the city offers cultural amenities, local dining, and outdoor recreation including nearby lakes and state forests — all within roughly two hours of the Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston metro areas. For clinicians seeking a stable, affordable lifestyle with genuine community ties, Nacogdoches delivers a quality of life that larger markets rarely match.
