Practice Highlights
- Based at the Paley Orthopedic & Spine Institute, a specialty practice serving local, national, and international patients with congenital, developmental, and post-traumatic orthopedic conditions
- Works under the direct supervision of the Practice Manager within a structured, team-based clinical environment
- Responsible for general cleaning duties including linen delivery and removal, trash removal, furniture moving, and deep cleaning of clinical spaces
- Strict adherence to infection control protocols and Standard Precautions, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Responsible for maintaining sanitary, orderly work areas throughout each shift and at shift end
- Applies working knowledge of cleaning products and chemicals appropriate to assigned areas
- Monitors and reports supply inventory levels and equipment issues to the management team
- Participates in infection control training, departmental education, organizational safety programs, and fire safety programs
- Shift lengths of up to 9.5 hours; role requires the ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting, bending, and stooping
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior maintenance and/or cleaning experience preferred
- Minimum six months of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
