A hospital-based neurosurgery practice in Harlingen, Texas — anchored in the heart of the Rio Grande Valley — is recruiting a full-time, employed Neurosurgeon to join a well-resourced neuroscience service line. The facility holds DNV Comprehensive Stroke Center designation, operates a dedicated 14-bed Neuro ICU, and is supported by a multidisciplinary team that includes endovascular neurologists, neurohospitalists, outpatient neurology, and physiatry. Paid call at $2,800 per day and a manageable call structure make this one of the more financially compelling neurosurgery opportunities in South Texas.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurological Surgery residency
  • Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain
  • Comfort with the full spectrum of neurosurgical volume appropriate to a comprehensive stroke and neuro-critical care center
  • J-1 and H-1B visa candidates welcome
