Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) – Neurosurgery

StaffMed Health Partners is placing an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) in a neurosurgery role at a Level I Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center in Palm Springs, CA. ### What you'll do - Evaluate and manage inpatient neurosurgery consults in collaboration with the attending surgical team - Assist in elective and emergent neurosurgical cases in the operating room - Provide postoperative and elective patient care in the outpatient clinic setting - Work within a team of two full-time neurosurgeons, two part-time neurosurgeons, and three APPs - Maintain a schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week, including one weekend per month ### What we're looking for - Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) - Experience in neurosurgery or a related surgical specialty preferred - Active California state license, DEA registration, and CPR certification - Ability to perform effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment - Strong communication skills and demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care ### What's included - Salary range: $150,000–$176,000 annually - Opportunities for additional hours and overtime compensation - Comprehensive benefits package - Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance (negotiable) ### About the practice This position is based at a designated Level I Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center serving the Coachella Valley region of Southern California.
