About this role
AdventHealth is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for its Oncology clinic in Rome, Georgia.
### What you'll do
- Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation.
- Administer medications and assist with minor procedures, documenting results accurately at the time of service.
- Prepare patients and equipment for treatment, initiating testing and ensuring efficient clinic flow.
- Educate patients on tests, medications, and dietary instructions with clear, accurate guidance.
- Monitor and manage supply inventory and verify medical equipment is functioning properly.
- Travel as needed to support staffing needs across clinic locations.
### What we're looking for
- Active certification as a CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA (required).
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required).
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- 1+ year of related clinical work experience (preferred).
- Knowledge of medical terminology and chronic disease management.
- Ability to work independently within certification scope in a fast-paced environment.

- Pay range: $16.36–$26.17/hour ($34,029–$54,434 annualized).
