About this role

AdventHealth South Orlando is hiring a full-time Neonatal Pediatric Respiratory Therapist for night shifts at its Orlando, Florida campus. ### What you'll do - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate respiratory care for neonatal and pediatric patients across the unit - Perform hemodynamic procedures including arterial cannulation - Conduct airway maintenance: endotracheal intubation, tracheostomy tube insertion and changes, suctioning, extubation, and procedural respiratory support - Deliver respiratory therapies using the most efficient protocol-driven method and adjust plans based on patient response - Utilize patient assessment skills, chart review, and multidisciplinary team consultation to evaluate therapy efficacy - Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain and enhance clinical skills ### What we're looking for - Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science (required) - Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (required) - Active BLS, NRP, PALS, and ACLS certifications (all required) - Ability to work nights, 6:45 PM–7:15 AM, three days per week including every other weekend ### What's included - Pay range: $26.08–$48.50/hr (~$54,246–$100,880 annualized) - Sign-on bonus: up to $15,000 - Relocation assistance: up to $5,000 - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance starting day one - Paid time off from day one; 4 weeks fully paid parental leave - 403(b) retirement plan - Career development and whole-person well-being resources ### About the practice AdventHealth South Orlando is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based nonprofit health system operating across multiple states with a mission centered on whole-person care.
