About this role
A Patient Experience Educator role at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth, based across four hospital campuses in Hinsdale, Bolingbrook, Glendale Heights, and La Grange, Illinois.
### What you'll do
- Develop, customize, and deliver patient experience education and training sessions for clinical and non-clinical staff across four hospital sites
- Facilitate skills labs, remediation sessions, and quarterly competency sign-offs related to patient experience standards
- Organize and maintain inventory of educational materials, training presentations, manuals, and related supplies
- Build and manage an internal database to track post-education evaluations and outcomes
- Generate monthly and ad hoc statistical reports, including physician HCAHPS data and departmental detail reports
- Integrate evidence-based practices and adult learning principles into all training design and delivery
### What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, Education, or a related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a comparable educator or training role, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong facilitation, organizational, and professional presentation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Registered Nurse (RN) license preferred but not required
