A Medication Use Policy Coordinator (Acute) role at AdventHealth, based at the AdventHealth Support Center in Altamonte Springs, Florida, focused on formulary management, medication stewardship, and system-wide pharmacy policy development. ### What you'll do - Develop, implement, and maintain the enterprise formulary management system, including usage criteria, formulary changes, and critical pathways - Prepare and oversee evidence-based drug monographs and therapeutic class reviews for the Formulary and Therapeutics Committee - Analyze pharmaceutical usage trends and develop cost-reduction initiatives targeting specific therapies - Collaborate with pharmacy, nursing, and informatics leaders at both system and facility levels to advance medication stewardship best practices - Perform routine formulary compliance audits and quantify the impact of institutional guidelines and initiatives - Support drug supply chain resiliency by identifying shortage trends and formulating mitigation strategies ### What we're looking for - Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited college of pharmacy — required - Completion of an accredited PGY-1 pharmacy residency program — required - Active Registered Pharmacist (RPh) licensure — required - Progressive hospital pharmacy leadership experience — required - Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) — preferred - PGY-2 specialty pharmacy residency and prior Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee contribution — preferred ### What's included - Salary range: $105,006 – $195,322 per year - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one and four weeks of 100% paid parental leave - 403(b) retirement plan - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth is a large faith-based, not-for-profit health system headquartered in Altamonte Springs, Florida, operating hospitals and care sites across multiple states.
