AdventHealth Celebration is hiring a full-time Clinical Risk Manager to lead the facility-wide risk management program at its hospital campus in Celebration, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Monitor, analyze, and report aggregated event data to hospital leadership, identifying risk trends and patterns
- Manage regulatory surveys related to complaints and Risk Management Program audits
- Identify, investigate, and facilitate Root Cause Analysis and corrective action processes
- Develop and deliver educational risk management programs for personnel and leadership as required by law
- Serve as a resource to administration, employees, and physicians on risk, legal, and ethical issues, including after-hours coverage
- Integrate the risk management program with quality and patient safety activities across assigned areas
### What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field
- 3+ years of clinical experience as an RN, NP, RT, OT, PT, PA, paramedic, or pharmacist, OR 3+ years in risk management or claims
- Active licensure in one of the following: RN, ACNPC, RRT, OT, PT, PA, Paramedic, Pharmacist, or CPHRM certification
- Experience in process improvement, patient safety, or clinical quality activities
- Working knowledge of federal and Florida statutes relevant to risk management and patient safety
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to manage multiple priorities under deadline
