About this role
AdventHealth Daytona Beach is hiring a full-time Patient Experience Manager to lead and operationalize the hospital's patient experience program at its Daytona Beach, Florida campus.
### What you'll do
- Develop and support department-specific patient surveys; identify complaint trends and escalate quality-of-care or safety issues to appropriate leadership.
- Execute strategies and operations of the Patient Experience program, translating key priorities into actionable, quantitative plans and monitoring outcomes.
- Train staff on patient experience standards and facilitate strategic and operational changes to improve service quality.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to drive decision-making, establish long-term goals, and mobilize teams around improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate simulation skills labs and conduct training classes in support of patient experience best practices.
- Partner with Human Resources to introduce new team members to The Whole Care Experience onboarding program.
### What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of related experience in patient experience, healthcare operations, or a comparable field.
- Demonstrated experience as a nurse leader driving patient experience improvement (RN license preferred).
- Solid knowledge of CMS CAHPS requirements, statistical concepts, and survey methodology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and database/trend-report tools.
- Lean or Six Sigma application knowledge preferred.
