About this role

AdventHealth East Orlando is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its Progressive Care Unit with a Medical Oncology focus, working day shift at the Lake Underhill Road campus in Orlando, Florida. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors. - Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care. - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies. - Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care across the unit. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida. - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). - Current BLS/CPR certification (required). - At least 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred). - EKG interpretation skills per unit-specific requirements. - Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills with proficiency in English. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $31.53 – $52.24 (approximately $65,582 – $108,659 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one. - Paid time off from day one. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Whole-person well-being and mental health resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth East Orlando is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states.
