About this role
AdventHealth Winter Park is hiring a full-time NICU Registered Nurse for day shift at its hospital in Winter Park, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Deliver holistic, individualized assessments of neonatal patients, accounting for age, physiological, and psychological status.
- Lead and mentor NICU staff to maintain optimal performance and competency in care delivery.
- Administer commonly used drugs and solutions in accordance with unit policies and physician orders.
- Document all phases of patient status throughout the care episode.
- Participate in structured patient information transfers to ensure continuity of quality care.
- Maintain a safe, clean environment by adhering to established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida.
- Minimum 1 year of NICU nursing experience.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Current Basic Life Support / CPR certification (BLS) required.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required.
