Executive Director, Clinical Safety & Quality

AdventHealth Tampa is seeking an Executive Director of Clinical Safety & Quality to lead divisional quality and patient safety strategy across acute and ambulatory care settings in Tampa, Florida. ### What you'll do - Provide strategic direction for clinical quality performance metrics grounded in evidence-based best practice measures - Monitor clinical performance across acute and ambulatory care settings and support the development of targeted improvement plans - Collaborate with facilities to execute best practices, develop medical protocols, and support Patient Safety and Quality Committees - Partner with corporate and facility leadership to develop, revise, and recommend clinical policies and benchmarks impacting quality - Lead divisional quality care initiatives focused on safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and patient-centered care - Research and identify high-risk opportunities across Quality, Safety, and Risk functions while supporting adaptation to regulatory and compliance changes ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required - Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) required; Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred - Bachelor of Nursing required; Master of Nursing preferred - 10+ years of clinical experience required, with 5+ years in a leadership position - Demonstrated experience in high reliability organizations and Safety Science - Strong knowledge of clinical practices, regulatory requirements, and data-driven process improvement ### What's included - Salary range: $110,702 – $205,911 annually - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid Time Off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states with a mission centered on whole-person care — body, mind, and spirit.
